Welcome to Nelly’s Playgroup.

By participating in our playgroup activities, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before attending as your attendance at Playgroup means you have read and accepted these terms and agree to be bound by them.

1. Membership Requirement

All families attending Nelly’s Playgroup must become members of Playgroup SA prior to participation. Membership ensures insurance coverage in the event that your child is injured while participating in Playgroup Activities upon the premises. Proof of membership must be provided upon request.

2. Indemnity and Release

By attending Nelly’s Playgroup, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

2.1 Indemnity: You indemnify and hold harmless Nelly’s Playgroup, its organisers, volunteers, and any associated entities from any claims, demands, or legal actions arising from your participation and your child's participation in playgroup activities.

2.2 Release: You release Nelly’s Playgroup, its organisers, volunteers, and associated entities from all liability for any damage, injury, or death suffered by you, your child(ren), or any attendee under your care while participating in playgroup activities. This release applies to incidents occurring on the premises or during any playgroup-related event.

3. Supervision of Children

Parents and caregivers are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times. Nelly’s Playgroup does not provide professional childcare services, and the safety of children is the responsibility of their accompanying adults.

4. Code of Conduct

All attendees must adhere to the playgroup’s code of conduct, which includes:

Treating all attendees with respect and courtesy.
Ensuring children behave in a manner that is safe for themselves and others.
Cleaning up after yourself and your children to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

5. Assumption of Risk

By attending Nelly’s Playgroup, you acknowledge that playgroup activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, interaction with other children, and the use of play equipment. You assume full responsibility for these risks.

6. Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, organisers may contact emergency services if deemed necessary. Any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the adult accompanying the child and / or the child's legal guardian.

7. Amendments

Nelly’s Playgroup reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Agreement

By attending Nelly’s Playgroup, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Your participation signifies your acceptance of these terms.
